Most breaches start with a vulnerability that was already there — unpatched software, a misconfigured network setting, a weak credential. Attackers scan public-sector networks constantly. Without regular penetration testing, your organization is defending against threats it cannot see — and your cyber insurer may be asking whether you’ve looked.
Automated Penetration Testing — Monthly, Not Just Once a Year
Penetration Testing simulates the full attack chain a real adversary would use — from open-source intelligence gathering through active exploitation and post-breach access attempts. It runs automatically on a schedule that fits your compliance requirements and delivers a detailed remediation report within minutes of completion.
Simulates Real Attacks
Goes beyond scanning to active exploitation — including password attacks, man-in-the-middle, relay attacks, and privilege escalation attempts, just like a real attacker would use.
Finds Hidden Weaknesses
Open-Source Intelligence gathering, host discovery, service enumeration, and vulnerability analysis across your full internal and external network environment — not just the obvious entry points.
Reports in Minutes, Not Weeks
Executive and technical reports generated automatically at test completion — no waiting weeks for a consultant to write them up. Results are ready within minutes.
Monthly Testing, On Demand
Run tests on a recurring monthly schedule, or on demand before compliance reviews and insurance renewals. Traditional manual pen testing costs $15,000+ per engagement — automated penetration testing makes monthly testing affordable.
AI-Powered
How automation makes penetration testing smarter and faster:
- Runs multiple attack tools simultaneously — completing in hours what takes consultants days
- Automatically determines next attack moves based on real-time findings during testing
- Reduces reporting time from 6+ hours to under 1 minute — a 29,900% speed increase
- Continuously updated with new attack techniques and emerging threat intelligence
A Perfect Fit for Schools and Public Entities.

Common Questions
Everything you need to know before you get started — from how the technology works to what your team actually has to do.
What is automated penetration testing, and how is it different from a vulnerability scan?
A vulnerability scan identifies known vulnerabilities but does not attempt to exploit them. Automated penetration testing goes further — it actively attempts to exploit vulnerabilities to determine whether an attacker could actually gain access, escalate privileges, or reach sensitive data. This gives you a much more accurate picture of your real risk.
How does the testing process work?
Once scoped and configured, the penetration testing platform simulates the full attack chain: open-source intelligence and reconnaissance, host discovery, service enumeration, exploitation attempts, and post-exploitation activities including privilege escalation and lateral movement. Every step is logged and included in the final report.
Will testing disrupt our network or daily operations?
No. Tests are scheduled in advance — typically during off-hours — and your Cybersecurity Advisor works with your team to exclude any systems that cannot tolerate testing activity. The vast majority of engagements complete without any noticeable impact on users.
How long does setup take, and what does our team need to do?
Typical setup takes 1-2 business days. Your team needs approximately 2 hours for scope definition and initial onboarding coordination. ResoluteGuard handles configuration and scheduling from there.
How often should we run penetration tests?
Cyber insurers now expect at minimum one internal and external penetration test annually. For organizations handling sensitive student or citizen data, quarterly testing is increasingly common. Monthly testing is available and affordable with automated penetration testing & traditional manual pen testing ($15,000+ per engagement) does not allow.
What reports and deliverables do we receive?
Each test generates an executive summary (written for administrators and board members) and a technical report (written for IT staff), identifying every vulnerability found, its risk level, and specific remediation steps. Reports are ready within minutes of test completion.
Will this help lower our cyber insurance premium?
Yes. Documented penetration test results are increasingly required by cyber insurers and 1-in-4 organizations have been denied coverage for failing to demonstrate verifiable security testing. ResoluteGuard prepares pen test results for your insurer.
Which compliance frameworks does this support?
ResoluteGuard configures pen testing to align with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, FERPA (student data privacy), and CIPA. Reports are formatted for auditors and state compliance reporting, and your Cybersecurity Advisor prepares the documentation needed for annual reviews and insurance
assessments.
